Saturday Scoreboard - 10/15/2016


Milwaukee 2 - San Antonio 1

In a tight contest, the Rampage scored their lone goal on the power play in the second period. AJ Greer was credited with his first professional goal. Despite the marker, the team struggled overall with the man advantage, failing to capitalize on their other eight opportunities. Jeremy Smith took the loss in goal for San Antonio, stopping 20 shots. Team captain, Joe Whitney, led the team in shots with five.


Rouyn-Noranda 6 - Drummondville 4

Philippe Myers and Martins Dzierkals each had two goals for the Huskies in the win. JC Beaudin notched his third goal of the season in the opening period and added an assist in the third.


North Bay 2 - Ottawa 1

Patrick White had the lone goal for the 67's in the first period. Ottawa held on to the lead until they gave up two goals in the last three minutes of regulation. Travis Barron had four shots in the game and did assist on White's marker.


Prince George 5 - Tri-City 2

Five different skaters scored for the Cougars. The clubs combined to score five goals in the opening period. Josh Anderson was minus one for Prince George.



Minnesota State 6 - St. Cloud State 4

The Huskies fall 0-2 to start the season. The Mavericks took over the game with four second period goals. Ben Storm recorded his first point of the season with an assist on a second period goal for SCSU.

Notre Dame 3 - Minnesota Duluth 1

Dylan Malmquist led the way for the Fighting Irish with a goal and two assists. Cam Morrison was held off the score sheet, but did fire two shots on goal. Notre Dame improves to 3-1-0 with the win.

North Dakota 5 - Rensselaer 2

The Fighting Hawks received a hat trick from Joel Janatuinen to keep the defending champs undefeated. Tyson Jost found the back of the net for the second time on the season. He had a team high seven shots on goal.

Denver 3 - Boston University 1

The Pioneers evened their record to 2-2 on the strength of two goals from freshman Henrik Borgstrom. Will Butcher assisted on the empty net tally that helped seal the game for Denver.

Friday Scoreboard - 10/14/2016


Acadie-Bathurst 5 - Gatineau 2

The Olympiques were unable to recover from a three goal barrage in the first period by the Patineurs. Nicolas Meloche was minus three on the night.

Saint John 4 - Rouyn-Noranda 2

Gabriel Fontaine scored twice for the Huskies in the loss as Saint John scored four times before Rouyn-Noranda got on the board. JC Beaudin finished minus one.


Prince George 3 - Seattle 2 - F/SO

Josh Anderson had a busy evening in the penalty box, with a charging minor and fighting major in the first period. He added an unsportsmanlike penalty in the third. The Cougars won the shoot-out 2-1.



Minnesota State 4 - St. Cloud State 1

Senior Ben Storm, skating on the 4th line for the Huskies, had one shot in the game. Marc Michaelis and Clint Lewis each had two helpers for the Mavericks in the win.

Minnesota Duluth 4 - Notre Dame 3

Six goals were scored between the two teams in the opening period. Adam Johnson struck twice for the Bulldogs. Cam Morrison assisted on a power play goal for the Fighting Irish. He also notched his first career collegiate goal.

Denver 4 - Boston University 3

The Pioneers nearly gave up a three goal lead to the Terriers in the third period. The opening goal scored by the Pioneers, was assisted by captain Will Butcher. Tanner Jaillet made 23 saves in the win.

Sunday Scoreboard - 10/16/2016


Milwaukee 2 - San Antonio 1

The Rampage struggled again with the man advantage, going 1-7 in the contest. Rocco Grimaldi scored the goal for San Antonio; AJ Greer earned his second professional point with an assist. Spencer Martin stopped 19 shots.


Rimouski 7 - Gatineau 1

The Olympiques managed to break the shutout with 49 seconds remaining in the game. Nicolas Meloche did not play due to injury.


Sault Ste. Marie 4 - Ottawa 1

Travis Barron was penalized three times in the game for cross-checking, holding, and slashing. He was minus one for the game. Barron left the game in the third period with a leg injury. The 67's have only won three of their first 10 games.
